Temporary Admin Support Assistant required by a leading not for profit organisation based in Edinburgh city centre.

The Admin Support Assistant will assist in contacting donors / supporters via phone and email – they will be the first point of contact providing a welcoming, informative and professional service.

Pay rate - £12.50 per hour (PAYE)


Applicants must be available to start from week commencing 13 May 2024 (as there will be training and induction)

These temporary roles are officially starting on Monday  13 May 2024  for circa 2 weeks (in the first instance potential for extension) – it is essential that applicants must be able to commit to the entirety of the temporary assignment.

Working Monday to Friday – 9.00am to 5.00pm.

  • Providing an effective administration service – excellent telephone skills, email, MS Teams / Zoom etc
  • Contacting donors / supporters / volunteers / customers via phone and email
  • Data entry and database management - ensuring that data is accurate and up to date when recorded on the CRM
  • Managing enquiries signposting and liaising with the relevant colleagues as required, escalating issues as appropriate to the line manager
  • Any other general admin duties as required by the team – including monitoring social media inboxes and voicemails, as well as assisting with campaign logistics
