Project Manager required by a charitable organisation based in central London to oversee and be responsible for the day-to-day handling of a major healthcare and housing project. You will ensure smooth running of the Innovate Grants project, supporting the Senior Management Team and CEO as well as other key staff. You will also engage with a leading government agency on a regular basis to ensure successful Project Management of the programme and project. It is essential that you have the ability to drive a multi-stakeholder complex project, and to make sure that all stakeholders deliver the information required for reporting as well as undertaking the reporting.
If you have experience of working with and project managing Innovate Grants, this would be highly desirable but not essential.
This is full time, fixed term contract role until 31st March 2024 – salary circa £51-52k – this role will be mostly remote working with occasional office-based days.
Duties include:
- To provide top level project management support:
- Scheduling meeting invites, circulate agreed agenda and papers, ensure attendance
- Writing meeting minutes with Action Plan
- Ongoing budget monitoring
- Preparing financial claim documents
- Filing process
- Collate and prepare reporting documents to the Monitoring Officer on a quarterly basis and as and when required
- With Head of Finance & Operations, to keep Project Plan up to date from discussions with collaborators, and liaison with key leads:
- Project Lead – investment; Steering Group; overall Project Management, and finance for domiciliary care
- Programme & Contracting Lead – distribution plan; research; product roll out and delivery; digitisation
- Finance & Operations Lead – compliance; regulation; risk and audit; social impact
- With Head of Finance & Operations, to maintain and update Risk Register with input from discussions with collaborators
- To provide support in project reports delivery:
- Ensure collaborators send timely and comprehensive updates
- Provide updates to the organisation’s weekly SMT meetings
- For Project Lead, feed collaborator updates in to draft quarterly report template
- To follow up on Project Team actions:
- Produce Action plans from individual and group collaborator (Project Team) meetings
- Monitor and report progress to the SMT and Project Team meetings
- Feed into Deliverables and Milestones updates, and flag issues at SMT meetings
- To support delivery tasks as required e.g., research and identify best practice for Energy Conservation Measures installation
