Business Development Manager (Corporate Partnerships) required by a leading UK wide charity for their London team The charity are continually looking to develop sustainable corporate partnerships that generate substantial income and other benefits. They have an award-winning track record of working with some of the nation's most high profile companies, driven by a focused and flexible new business approach.

This is a full time, permanent role, working 35 hours a week, paying £36-40k per annum. Interviews asap. Remote / home working role (until their offices re-open).

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading on identifying, engaging and securing new business and corporate partnerships.

You will build on the healthy pipeline of prospects the charity have and further expand their business networks. With a background in new business corporate fundraising or private sector sales and marketing, you will understand how to engage businesses, work with stakeholders at any level and identify synergies between the charity’s work and their objectives. You need to have a strong understanding of the business world and a respect for data, including excellent experience in developing and negotiating commercially focused partnerships, including cause related marketing and sponsorship, in the not-for-profit or private sectors.

You should be able to build strong relationships at all levels and present confidently to senior audiences. To ensure the charity keep up momentum in a fast-paced environment, you will have an organised approach and the ability to prioritise busy workloads. Leading a team of two officers, you will have experience of line management and supporting development.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS :

  • Demonstrable experience of securing high value partnerships worth £100k+ per annum within Corporate Fundraising or the commercial sector
  • Proven track record of prospecting, negotiating and securing multi-disciplinary corporate partnerships
  • Experience working with and influencing senior executives in a corporate environment
  • Experience of negotiating terms and contracts
  • Excellent numeracy and experience of setting, managing and reporting on budgets
  • Experience of line management
  • Strong knowledge of the UK corporate sector, its networks and the workings of the economy
