Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Events Manager across all areas of event coordination
  • Be the first point of contact for event enquiries, responding quickly and professionally
  • Manage event communications, including sending speaker invitations, confirmations, and reminders
  • Monitor email inboxes, respond to queries, and keep records up to date
  • Process delegate and speaker registrations, payments, and refunds using our database
  • Prepare and send marketing communications and promotional emails
  • Promote events through social media channels
  • Prepare event materials such as badges, delegate packs, course materials, and attendance lists
  • Attend in-person events to provide on-site support to delegates, speakers, organisers, and committee members
  • Compile reports from event data and provide summaries as needed
  • Support committees and clinical organisers with administrative tasks related to events
  • Create and update event webpages, keeping content clear and current
  • Support online events, including managing cameras, microphones, and technical setup
  • Run pre-event technical checks with speakers to ensure everything works smoothly
  • Provide technical support to attendees to help them access and participate in online events
About You You’ll be confident juggling multiple tasks, with a professional and calm approach. You communicate well with a range of stakeholders, and you pay close attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who has:
  • Experience in administration or events coordination
  • Strong IT skills, including databases, email marketing, and social media
  • A flexible, proactive, and team-focused approach
  • Familiarity with virtual platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams (desirable)
If this sounds like you, submit your CV today. Interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams on 18 March.
