12 months FTC – Covering Mat leave
Paying £40,000 - £45,000
Fully remote role – (requirement to attend office twice a month)
CIPD qualified (Essential)
Line management of 2 team members
Solid stakeholder management experience
Supporting advisory business supporting Head of Human Resource


Working in the People Advisory Team you will play a key role in supporting the business in the administration of organisational transformation up to and including consultation (including TUPE/ restructure /redundancies) partnering with the broader People Function to deliver the change

Duties:-

  • Advisory leadership experience is required for this role, you will be working closely with the HR Operations Manager and Audit HR Lead & HR Business Partners to deliver a high level of service & employee experience
  • Support cross Advisory in the delivery of operational excellence, management of SLA & Customer Experience
  • Partnering with broader People Operations functions (Recruitment, Life Cycle and Contact) to provide a connected & paced response
  • Working closely as the first point of contact for Performance Leaders and Managers to support query resolution and seek ongoing customer feedback
  • Providing direction to & management of a team of Senior & Junior HR Advisors including case closure, upskill, volume management, wellbeing and retention
  • Operational hands on management of some complex case work including Death In Service and escalations
  • Supporting key projects and change activity as and when required
  • Partnering with the Centres of Excellence and HR business Partners to deliver the cyclical processes – eg Salary and Bonus, Performance Management cycle, Promotions
  • Continuous improvement (including SOPS, Process Maps, RACCM, creation and maintenance of dashboards and automation) always looking at ways to improve and pragmatically driving and owning iterative changes to improve efficiencies and provide capacity
  • Management of risk within their area with a risk mindset
  • You will build and sustain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders, you are expected to demonstrate the company's values at all times

Your experience
  • Experience in operational, service delivery and management, preferably in an Employee Relations /HR shared services
  • CIPD qualified essential
  • Authentic and transparent leader with a high ‘say/do’ ratio
  • Team leadership with a proactive approach constantly looking to add value
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent Stakeholder management, with proven ability to anticipate and resolve complex scenarios
  • Agile individual with ability to act at short notice and under pressure
  • Proven ability in leading change
  • Strong employee advocate developing a culture of belonging, purpose and passion
  • Strong project and change management skills providing a sense of purpose and direction.
  • Flexible to deal with demand especially aligned to Regulatory requirements
  • SAP / Success Factors and ServiceNow experience an advantage
  • Professional services / partnership led sector skills are desirable but not essential. Candidates from outside this sector will need to be self-aware and able to make a sector transition.
  • Strong IT skills MS Office, Excel – ability to put high quality presentations together.
