A luxury high end international restaurant group are recruiting for a Head Chef (Greek speaking) for their central London restaurant. The Head Chef will lead a team of 10 (7 chefs and 3 kitchen porters) and deliver a high-quality menu and motivate the staff to provide excellent service.

Our client will offer £40,000 per annum plus an attractive benefit package and bonuses. Experience of Greek cuisine and menus is highly desirable, as well as spoken Greek.  

This is a full-time permanent role - this role will be based in central London.

Duties:

• Managing, leading and working closely with all other chefs
• Controlling and directing the food preparation process
• Approving all dishes before they are served
• Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
• Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
• Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
• Managing and overseeing all health and safety
• Being responsible for food hygiene practices
