HR Advisor (9 Month FTC)

Salary £32,000 - £34,000 plus excellent benefits (pension, lunch, concessions and more)

Immediate Start for an experienced HR Advisor to join this iconic venue based in Central London
Generalist HR Advisor role working as a member of a small and busy HR Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the HR Department for an amazing famous music venue space.
Responsibilities
- To provide effective and practical generalist HR advice to staff, managers, Heads of Departments and Directors across the venue.
- Support the senior members of the HR team, working closely with the HR Manager to ensure the provision of an efficient, timely and accurate HR service
- Providing generalist HR advice and support to all managers and employees, in any people related matters
- Providing and making recommendations to managers and Heads of department in respect of all operational day to day matters and general staff management, including training and development, performance management, absence and sickness management
- Support Head of Departments and Managers through departmental change, providing guidance on HR best practice and legal implications, seeking input from legal advisors when necessary and working closely with the senior members of the HR team to ensure the delivery of the process is as smooth and efficient as possible and managing the level of risk to the organisation.
- Working closely with the Recruitment Executive and the HR team to ensure contracts of employment, joining instructions, induction, role changes and leaver paperwork is produced accurately and in a timely manner for payroll, working closely with to ensure the team are aware of all new starters/ leavers and changes
- Managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle
- Supporting the HR Manager with cross-organisational HR project work.
- Providing Employee Relations advice to managers and staff by managing the Disciplinary, Grievance and Capability processes including investigations, hearings - which may involve dealing with Trade Union representatives and compiling reports detailing recommendations, action points and outcomes. Ensuring that the senior members of the HR team and any relevant Directors are kept informed of all work and actions proposed
Software skills Ms Office Suite, I-Trent HR system experience or similar
Ideally you will be CIPD-qualified, and or have the relevant experience in working as a HR Advisor.
