Are you a passionate, dedicated, Experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for your next role? We are looking for experienced paediatric occupational therapists to join our newly established SEN OT service working in schools across our West London borough.
Paediatric Special Educational Needs Occupational Therapist
Salary banding: (£35,067– 42,609, pro rata & depending on experience)
36 hours per week, term time, (Academic year is September to July), plus 10 days across the school holidays. Part time hours considered.

You will work with children and young people who have developmental, physical, social communication and other specific difficulties to meet the outcomes specified in their Education Health and Care Plans.
The SEN OT team also works with school staff to strengthen school-led support for children without EHCPs including training for teachers and parents.
Excellent knowledge, skills and experience with assessing for and making recommendations for children with developmental and disability needs.
Experience with working in a multi professional team and undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments
Experienced with managing, planning, prioritising and progressing school-based caseload
Experience and knowledge of assessing for developmental and school-based level difficulties and skills, assessing for Occupational Therapy needs
Excellent knowledge and skills in children's occupational therapy, with both community and school-based interventions.
Understanding of the legal SEND reforms and SEN code of practice and what it means for Health.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and plan own workload. Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting.
