A world famous beauty brand that is constantly evolving artistically and commercially is recruiting for a qualified Commercial Solicitor. Our client are a family owned multi-award-winning brand with a global presence and more than 50 years' experience in beauty expertise, superior client service and education.

The in house commercial solicitor will complement the team based in Slough but will be split between the company's corporate offices in central London and Slough. This is a diverse in-house role that will offer you an excellent spread and quality of work and would be an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to gain exposure to a fast-paced commercial environment within an internationally renowned brand.

This is a full time, permanent role, paying between £65,000 to £80,000 per annum plus benefits.

Reporting to the General Counsel, key responsibilities will include;
" Providing professional and comprehensive advice on all commercial matters relating to the group, including:
" Franchising (UK and international)
" Product Distribution
" Company Secretarial matters
" E-commerce
" Marketing and Advertising
" Intellectual Property
" Real Estate lease queries
" General commercial contracts and projects (including software, IT and mobile application agreements)
" Litigation advice
" Compliance
" Day to day management of and responsibility for the Legal team, including delegation and oversight of the work prepared by the team.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in commercial law, excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally. You will be commercially astute, business focused, possess a positive and flexible approach and be confident in liaising with individuals at all levels of seniority with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Previous private practice experience is desirable but not essential.
