Sponsorship and Partnerships Executive required by a leading membership body based in the City of London (London Bridge area).
The post holder will work with companies in the built environment industry to build partnerships and source sponsorship for the organisation's programme of events.
This is a full time, permanent role, working 35 hours per week, salary will be £30,000 + commission of up to 15% of basic salary (OTE circa £34-35k).
The membership organisation are improving and growing their sponsorship offering, creating new opportunities and forging new partnerships within their industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong sales person to join their team during a period of change and be an integral part of these improvements.
Key duties of the Sponsorship and Partnerships Executive:
" Account management of key major sponsors and partners.
" Responsibility for exhibition and sponsorship sales at three major national events.
" Building relationships with and gathering intelligence of individual needs of major partners to inform more bespoke offering, ensuring sponsorship/partners data up to date and accurate through the CRM
" Monitoring sponsorship activity across the organisation in particular activity involving major partners, to identify opportunities for joined-up proposals
" Supporting nations, regions and other teams in helping to create attractive sponsorship packages
" Market research/attendance at industry events to source new leads.
" Conducting face to face meetings and a high volume of phone calls, to procure new business.
" Constructing written proposals for sponsorship, both one-off packages and year round partnership packages representing various business areas.
" Review current sponsorship opportunities and develop new/bespoke opportunities for clients.
" Meeting KPIs as indicated by the line manager. This will include, but is not limited to call time targets, meeting targets and revenue targets.
Applicants should have experience in a full time sales role, a strong track record of hitting revenue targets and experience in sourcing new leads and account managing high profile clients.
