Drivers wanted for the Royal Mail ( Summer Campaign)
Locations: Mill Hill
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 20 to 35 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Saturday (5 days per week)
Hourly Rate: £9.50 per hour (after 13 weeks rising to £11.87 per hour)

The role
Your typical day will start your day in the local delivery office, sorting the mail for your route (approx. 1 hour)  before taking out your van to complete your round. You will be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and the round will take around four hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.

You will be an upbeat and self-motivated individual, happy to work alone but equally happy to work as part of a team, always presenting a happy and willing face to the the different people on your round. You’ll have a strong sense of community and the idea of doing a job that involves flexible working patterns will appeal to you.

Requirements A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with less than six penalty points, is essential, however a clean licence is preferred.
A DPS will be undertaken.
