Company Secretary required by a leading UK wide membership organisation and regulatory body (within the medical field) based in the City of London (Tower Hill).

This is a permanent, full time position, working 35 hours per week, salary £70,000 per annum plus excellent benefits. Interviews for this role will be in August 2019.

The post holder will:
" Provide overall line management, development and training of staff within the organisation, as well as the setting and management of budgets.
" Provide advice to Board of Trustees, Disciplinary Committee and Senior Management Team on compliance with the Bye Laws and Regulations.
" Service and support meetings of the Board of Trustees, Council and associated committees as required.
" Assume responsibility for information and governance including data protection and management of complaints.
" Assist the Director of Finance with constitutional, governance and information governance.

Essential requirements:
" Qualified as a Company Secretary or equivalent legal qualification
" Graduate calibre or equivalent qualifications
" Staff management experience
" Ability to manage budgets
" Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to draft own correspondence and organisational documents / policies
" Experience of committee support in a professional environment
" Strong minute taking skills

" Experience of working in a membership organisation or similar environment
" Experience of high level strategic and operational planning
