Contract type: initially temp until August possibly permanent

Hours: Full time / job share and flexible working arrangements considered

Main purpose of the job

With 12,000 staff over a growing campus, this role is an exciting opportunity to support the university’s staff learning and development. It is an opportunity to contribute to a period of transformational change at the university and within the Organisational Development team. The role will provide crucial support and play a key enabling role to the Blended Learning Manager. You will play an important part as part of a newly formed high performing Organisational Development team, working to ensure the university is successful in attracting, appointing, developing and retaining diverse, world leading current and future managers and leaders.

Key duties and responsibilities

•Analysis and understanding


• Provide support with data gathering and input, including surveys, focus groups, workshops and interviews.

• Develop an excellent understanding of the university’s charter mark awards and their implications for OD's learning and development programmes

•Design, development and delivery

• Provide administrative support

• Organise stakeholder meetings and customer design workshops, book rooms, capture minutes and follow up with participants

• Provide programme support before, during and following OD's learning and development interventions

• Input learning evaluation results and create reports and presentations as required

•Engagement and communication

• Provide an excellent customer service to colleagues and participants at all times

• Input and analyse data and present information in a way that communicates key messages and decision points clearly and effectively

• Build great working relationships with key stakeholders

• Prepare and distribute communications to update colleagues as required

•Continuous improvement and innovation

• Proactively seek out opportunities to provide higher quality customer service
