Technical Solutions Architect
Based in Kent
Salary up to £55Kpa plus excellent benefits


THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic and a talented Solutions Architect to join and established and much respected payment solutions provider. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with an exciting and dynamic company.

As Solutions Architect you ensure that all stakeholders requirements (internal/ external) are captured, refined, signed off and then provided to Development, as well as providing support and assistance to the Scrum team to deliver those requirements.

  • Reviewing requests and determining their viability; and reviewing 3rd party specifications and breakdown change, impacts and development requirements
  • Acting as a point of contact to liaise with stakeholders
  • Documenting requirements clearly and creating specification documentation
  • Working with Product Manager to create a roadmap
  • Creating 'User Stories' to deliver said specification
  • Supporting the Scrum team when required

EXPERIENCE:
  • Essential knowledge of software development lifecycle within an Agile framework
  • Proven analysis skills in file and interface specifications
  • Familiarity with alternate payment mechanisms ·; bespoke software solutions; and
  • Experience of communicating technical concepts to both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Proficiency in producing flows and wireframes to convey ideas and concepts
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Knowledge of MoSCoW Prioritisation or equivalent manage Business goals
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Excel & Visio
  • Familiar with using Azure DevOps or similar (e.g. JIRA)
  • Experience with ISO8583; APACs; nexo C, C++, Java or Kotlin is highly desirable

SKILLS
  • Strong software development and application architecture experience with an understanding of Secure systems & software design, resilience and high-availability patterns for mission-critical applications, including multi-data-centre deployments
  • Demonstrable hands-on technical skills with broad knowledge of web technologies, methodologies and standards
  • Excellent communicator - ability to explain technical decisions to the broader team
  • Passionate about and experienced at: working in agile environments; continual delivery techniques; testing
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback at all levels.
  • Genuine Leader, who can motivate and encourage others regardless of level; and who will freely share information and experience with others
