We have a fantastic new opportunity working as a Management Accountant for a leading global property management company with an extensive portfolio across the EMEA region.
Please note that this role is based in Kuwait - please ONLY apply if you are willing to relocate.
Our client are looking for a fully qualified Accountant who has strong knowledge of financial accounting and internal auditing and ideally have worked for a top 20 accountancy firm in the UK.
This vacancy is a full time, permanent role paying circa £80,000 to £100,000 per annum (salary may be negotiable) plus excellent benefits.
Core duties of the Management Accountant:
" Maintain proper and complete accounting records of the companies run out of the Kuwait office.
" Ensure that the accounts, records and transactions are accurate and correct at all times.
" Prepare and discuss the year end statutory accounts before finalising and submitting to Accountants.
" Ensure that all transactions are well supported, valued and authorised before recording.
" Ensure that all transactions are recorded in a timely manner and posted to the respective ledger accounts.
" Ensure that cash books are maintained and reconciled on a daily basis.
" Ensure that all transactions are recorded following legislation.
" Ensure that suppliers' accounts are reconciled with supplier's statements periodically and accounts payable paid in a timely basis.
" Ensure that all revenue is adequately recorded in a timely manner and to report senior management for any receivables need to be collected (past due date) within the credit periods established.
" Comply with the requirement of the external bodies for Audit and others, for inspection of accounts etc.
" Prepare the monthly and annual financial statements and monthly reports
" Monitor the budget on a monthly basis and provide any reports and analysis as required.
" Be engaged in business planning where needed for any of the entities within the Group.
" Take a lead role with cash forecasting on a daily basis.
" Provide daily cash/bank balance to Senior Finance Controller at the start of the day.
" Manage bank facilities where appropriate.
" Manage working capital where necessary.
" Cash Flow/cash management to meet the future expenses of the group
" Provide statements/reports to Senior Finance Controller for any Interest to be due from Banks/Building societies on monthly basis.
" Work with the colleagues in the department to ensure the proper and complete accounting records of the Group. To ensure that the accounts, records and transactions are accurate and correct at all times.
