Sales and Sponsorship Executive required by a well-known and respected membership body based in Holborn, central London.
We are looking for pro-active and target driven sales people who have excellent customer service and relationship building skills. The post holder will work in an established and highly successful Sales and Commercial Team.
This is a full time, permanent role paying up to £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
Core duties of the Sales and Sponsorship Executive include (but not limited to):
" Selling seats to members / non-members for all events and conferences
" Securing sponsors for events
" Providing support at various organisational events
" Compiling a database list of call targets and maintaining records
Skills and knowledge:
" Persuasive and polite, with the ability to quickly and confidently grasp the information and communicate the benefits via telephone, email or face-to-face
" Self-motivated and able to carry out tasks unaided
" Team player, flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
" Excellent IT skills including use of database and content management systems
" Proven experience of working in a sales role, where marketing calls and/or regular customer contact formed a key part of the role
" Experience of working within in a membership organisation would be desirable.
