Panel Manager (temp to perm) required by a leading and well-respected educational / awarding body based in East Croydon.
This is a full time, temporary to permanent role, paying up to £35,000 per annum. You must be available immediately.
As the Panel Manager, you will be responsible for the recruitment and delivery of training and standardisation of examiners who delivers the body's examinations and assessments specifically across their Drama and Arts Award portfolio. With regular liaison with the Quality and Standards team and the Sector Strategies directorates, you will be advised on topic, activity and content to be delivered so that you can ensure that panel members deliver the best possible experience to their candidates.
With an administrator in the team to manage, you will be supported in the organisation and leading of recruitment of examiners, the effective and timely delivery of training and monitoring of panel members, contribute to policy and process documents (and develop this where appropriate). You will also manage the panel review process and use statistical and feedback data to develop an understanding of training and standardisation needs. You will help to oversee the development and distribution of panel handbooks and relevant materials for the subject area.
Essential requirements include: key experience in education/training is absolutely essential and an interest or exposure to drama/dance/arts would be ideal. Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, as well as strong line management experience.
