With a start-up mentality but a wealth of history and experience across travel publishing and the online travel industry - we are looking to recruit a skilled Head of Online Manager to provide full hands-on support to this Global Brand. This is a highly coveted role within a dynamic industry.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Online Marketing develop, build and lead a small but dynamic online marketing team. You have an excellent understanding and record of content marketing, PR, inbound and outbound marketing. As Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for defining a strategy that drives execution which will be measured by achieving traffic growth that converts the marketing funnel defined by a focused and exciting consumer journey, achieved KPIs and ROI on all campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Drive online/ mobile lead acquisition through digital marketing efforts covering the full customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention
  • Understand the travel publishing industry to convert our long term and loyal book buyers into a new offering of digital related products like experiences and trips
  • Define and execute a Content Marketing Strategy as the key pillar of our lead acquisition model
  • Develop and implement activities to convert the existing offline user base
  • Develop, manage and optimise Paid Search, Programmatic Display and Search
  • Engine Optimisation (SEO) campaigns
  • Develop, manage and optimise automated marketing and lead nurturing campaigns (email, chat, social), including Database Management
  • Identify additional channels to reach our target audiences and initiate product engagement
  • Define KPIs and set up campaign reports and management dashboards

Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrable Content Marketing experience with a clear understanding of the content production process
  • Proven experience working in online marketing Web and Mobile Traffic acquisition (including but not limited to Paid Search, Programmatic Display and Website Retargeting), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) / e-commerce Marketing Automation & Email marketing Social Media Marketing with demonstrable results
  • Experience in disruptive online marketing
  • Dynamic, flexible and highly entrepreneurial mind-set
  • Hypothesis-driven, wanting to learn how to best engage our customers
  • Experience with customer engagement & segmentation (life-time value)
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills (incl. Google Analytics)
  • Constantly on top of trends within social media/content innovation
  • A persuader and an influencer
  • Experience in Disruptive Marketing
