A well-established professional membership body within the health/medical arena is looking to recruit a skilled Content Officer, based in central London. This is a full-time permanent role paying £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.

Core duties of the Content Officer:

- Developing content for communication with membership via emails, promotions, roundups and journals
- Writing material to engage membership through website content, promotion of events and conferences
- Supporting membership committees through minute taking
- Management of content for member information e.g. proof reading and editing copy
- Manage content for social media- Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Providing reports regarding activities for exec e.g. surveys, publications, guidelines etc
- Write, edit and review articles/content/surveys as required
- Supporting the Event officer with promotion
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by the General Manager

The Content Officer will most likely have/be:

- Experience of writing/copy writing ideally within a Membership or customer service organisation
- Ability to deliver content for membership communication such as: bulk emails, regular round up/newsletters, surveys, social media, website and promotional materials
- Minute taking skills
- Ability to work effectively within a small team of staff
- An approach which is methodical, logical with great attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
