With the new academic year approaching we have a fantastic opportunity available working for a leading independent provider of specialist Student Accommodation. With key properties in desirable Central London postcodes we are looking for a Residence Assistant to provide a community focused and welfare lead student engagement service on site for all residents. The site caters to 16 - 18 year old students within a leading independent secondary school. This accommodation then provides a full boarding function for the school and the postholder the oversight over the smooth running of the building. The post is then suitable for a Boarding Assistant, House Master/Housemistress or equivalent postholder, with experience of safeguarding.

This is a live-in opportunity, with the postholder becoming an integral part of the daily lives of the students. The Residence Assistant will work 46 hrs across 2 weeks, one week on, one week off + out of hours on a rota. Full accommodation costs are covered on-site and the salary offered is £4500 for a 10 month contract. This is a rolling FTC with long-term opportunities available.

Promoting student engagement and enforcing behaviour policies the Residence Assistant will work under the direction of the Senior Residence Assistant in a small delivery team for all day to day aspects of resident life at the site (circa 90 beds). From arranging daily meal plans (ensuring accurate record are kept and hygiene standards are maintained), managing student arrivals, conducting room inspections as required and delivering an enrichment calendar of events.
