WANTED  URGENTLY !!!!  An Events Administrator

We have an exciting career opportunity for a skilled and professional Events Administrator.  You will be working for an International Trade Association in the heart of London's City within a small but dynamic team.

Salary: £26 - £28K plus excellent benefits

Main Duties

  • Work as part of a team that enables and anticipates long term planning and effective event preparation across the Marketing and Communications remit.
  • To coordinate and administer a calendar of organisation’s events, webinars and training seminars
  • Work with and support Senior Leadership to ensure timely decision making for all relevant events requirements including venue and menu options, entertainment, creative design, marketing and branding.
  • Communicate all event logistical and event delivery requirements briefed to our event management agency
  • Communicate and maintain oversight of all event marketing collateral and creative requirements briefed to the design agency.
  • Monitor and report back on the current status of all event planning through regular communication
  • Assist in planning and delivering events within agreed budget levels, with involvement in maintaining up to date budgets with all quotes and estimates received.
  • Assist in the management of communications and marketing materials for all small and large-scale international events (conferences, seminars, forums, webinars, dinners, etc.) including contributing to digital content.
  • Liaise with sponsors, speakers, delegates and exhibitors as necessary before, during and after events
  • Develop and manage the event registration system.
  • Maintain the event guest lists in our CRM system.
  • Work with Senior Leadership where necessary to negotiate with outside providers/suppliers
  • Participate in and prepare papers and minutes for a monthly committee meeting.
  • Support the wider Marketing and Communications team as appropriate.
  • Provide assistance on various ad hoc projects, as instructed by Senior Leadership.
  • General office assistance as and when required

 
Requirements

  • Experience in an events related role
  • Professional personal presentation
  • A willingness to go the extra mile
  • English to Mother tongue standard
  • Willingness to travel as part of this role, including some out of hours’ work business
